Right from the start of the Grand Final Breakfast at 6am Thursday morning, right through to the post-final coverage, on Sunday night, Martin Place was swarmed with people enjoying the footy-related programming on the screen, NRL stands, interactive games, DJs, sausage sizzle, plus celebrity guests and live acts on the stage.
XIX Commonwealth Games 2010
After the phenomenal success of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, where enormous numbers of people not only attended the various events but also watched the coverage live at Federation Square, the Games will return to Australia this year – through the magic of television.
EkkA 2010
Brisbane’s annual EkkA takes place this year between 5th and 14th August.
2010 is the 132nd year of Queensland’s largest and most popular event, where the city and country will come together to celebrate for ten days.
