2010 EkkA expected to be bigger and better than ever!
Brisbane’s annual EkkA takes place this year between 5th and 14th August.
2010 is the 132nd year of Queensland’s largest and most popular event, where the city and country will come together to celebrate for ten days. This year, EkkA is particularly significant, as it last year won the Q150 “Iconic Events and Festivals” award. As such, the RNA are promoting the event on a much grander scale this coming August to celebrate this unique achievement.
So this year, the RNA encourages you to remember strawberry sundaes, fireworks in the main arena, the chair lift, Ferris wheels, showbags and learning about all of the animals. These experiences shared with a family member or loved one are what EkkA is all about. The ability to interact with such a cultural icon has created a community which includes every Queenslander who has ever attended the EkkA.
